The Velvet Stitch, an upbeat fabric shop in Elizabeth City, N.C. offers the best selection in basic sewing notions and a 1000 plus bolts of fabric and counting! We offer adult and children classes including a monthly Bag-a-licious class, adult sewing and machine lessons, Kids can Sew Too, Kids Make it and Take it classes, and quilting. Available services include alterations and machine repair. We receive new fabrics weekly so you will want to check back often for the new selections.
