The Velvet Stitch, an upbeat fabric shop in Elizabeth City, N.C. offers the best selection in basic sewing notions and a 1000 plus bolts of fabric and counting! We offer adult and children classes including a monthly Bag-a-licious class, adult sewing and machine lessons, Kids can Sew Too, Kids Make it and Take it classes, and quilting. We've added new items in the shop such as lip cording for home decor' and lace trim. I've included pictures of our newest spring fabrics and boy are the colors bright!
